What Our Blackout Curtains Help With
Strong sunlight entering through windows can create unwanted glare and make bedrooms, living areas or workspaces less comfortable. Blackout curtains provide greater control over incoming light while complementing your interior design.
The level of light reduction depends on the selected fabric, curtain coverage and installation arrangement. Light may still enter through gaps around curtain edges or tracks, so suitable measurements and positioning are important.
Custom-Made Blackout Curtains for Different Spaces
We supply and install blackout curtains for various residential and commercial applications:
-
Bedrooms Reduce external light and improve privacy for a more comfortable sleeping environment.
-
Living Rooms Manage direct sunlight and glare during the day.
-
Condominiums Provide practical light control for different room layouts.
-
Hotels and Hospitality Support guest comfort with suitable light-reducing curtains.
-
Offices and Meeting Rooms Reduce window glare during presentations and screen use.
-
Commercial Interiors Combine functional light control with suitable interior styling.
How We Select the Right Blackout Curtain
Different blackout fabrics and curtain arrangements provide varying levels of light reduction and visual appeal. Our team considers:
| Consideration | What We Assess |
|---|---|
| Blackout fabric | Preferred light reduction and fabric characteristics |
| Window dimensions | Curtain width, finished drop and coverage |
| Colour and texture | Compatibility with your interior design |
| Curtain pleating | Preferred style and curtain fullness |
| Curtain track | Suitable track arrangement and mounting position |
| Layering options | Whether sheer curtains are needed for daytime use |
| Budget | Suitable fabric and design selections |
For rooms requiring stronger light reduction, we also consider curtain coverage and track positioning to help minimise unwanted light gaps.
